They inspire, they encourage and motivate and they educate: the speakers of beyond tellerrand, flying in from all over the world. Please make them feel very welcome and see who it is this year.

As soon as I have spoken to all speakers that were planned to come to April's edition to check if they are able to make it to the November edition, I will update this page with their lovely faces and infromation. Stay tuned.

Bianca Berning

Bianca Berning

Bianca is a designer and engineer based at the intersection of typography, type design and technology. She is Creative Director at typeface design studio Dalton Maag and an active member of Alphabettes, Association Typographique Internationale (ATypI) and the Unicode Consortium.

Titus Dittmann

Titus Dittmann

Titus Dittmann is considered the “father of the German skateboard scene” and is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur and founder from Münster. Today he is primarily active as a social entrepreneur and “instigator” with his organisation skate-aid. His motto is: “Das Herz muss brennen!” (which translates to “The heart has to be on fire!”). Jeff Greenspan

Jeff Greenspan

Jeff is a comedian, activist, and artist. Since he also enjoys eating and having nice things, he freelances as an advertising writer and creative director. Basically, he helps brands talk to people without seeming like jerks.

Jeff was BuzzFeed’s first chief creative officer, worked closely with “Zuck” at Facebook to launch Timeline, and wrote for filmmaker Michael Moore. Currently, he’s focusing more on being happy than on being right. It’s making him miserable.

Eva-Lotta Lamm

Eva-Lotta Lamm

Eva-Lotta Lamm is a designer, author and visual thinker. After a 15-year-long career as a UX / digital product designer working in Paris and London for Google, Skype, and Yahoo!, she shifted her professional focus to her life-long passion of visual thinking.

She is now based in Berlin, running her own business designing (physical and digital) products that teach a global audience to use sketching as a tool for understanding, thinking and communicating more efficiently. Her mission is to empower people to make the complex problems they face in their work and daily life visual so they can ‘see’ them from a fresh perspective and solve them with more confidence, creativity and clarity.

Eva-Lotta is a sought after expert in her field. She is regularly speaking at international design conferences on the topics sketching, sketchnoting and visual thinking and has been teaching her craft both in-peron and online for over a decade.

In her spare time, Eva-Lotta practices yoga and improvisation, loves travelling, languages and learning new things. These passions have inspired several of her books capturing her experiences in the form of rich visual notes.

Aaron Parecki

Aaron Parecki

Aaron Parecki is a Senior Security Architect at Okta. He is the author of OAuth 2.0 Simplified, and maintains oauth.net. He regularly writes and gives talks about OAuth and online security. He is a member of the OAuth working group at the IETF, and is the co-founder of IndieWebCamp, a conference focusing on data ownership and online identity. Aaron has spoken at conferences around the world about OAuth, data ownership, quantified self, and home automation, and his work has been featured in Wired, Fast Company and more.

Júlia Racskó is a product designer and illustrator. She combines analytical and artistic thinking to get to the core of how our digital media environment became so exhausting, and how to design a nourishing one that is based on a holistic understanding of attention as a connection.

After living in Budapest, Milan and Geneva, she is currently a product designer at Steady Media in Berlin.

Ulrike Rausch

Ulrike Rausch

In 2009 Berlin-based type designer Ulrike Rausch founded her own type foundry called LiebeFonts, providing high-quality typefaces and hand-crafted letterings with a charming personality and obsessive attention to detail. Her growing portfolio of quality fonts has been used in publications, advertisements, and websites all around the world. She also creates custom typefaces for clients.

When Ulrike is not busy with her next font release, she enjoys teaching at art schools and giving type design workshops in her studio.

Last year she teamed up with letterer and writer Chris Campe and wrote the book “Making Fonts!”, a comprehensive guide to type design & font production.

Harry Roberts

Harry Roberts

Harry is an independent Consultant Web Performance Engineer from the UK. He helps some of the world’s largest and most respected organisations find and fix their site-speed issues.

He is both a Google- and a Cloudinary Media Developer-Expert, and has consulted for clients from the United Nations to the BBC, General Electric to the Financial Times, and a whole host more.

When not doing work-work, he writes, teaches, and speaks about the entire gamut of front-end performance. When not doing work at all, he’s probably out riding his bike.

Matthias Stahl

Matthias Stahl

Matthias is a trained biochemist and bioinformatician. After dismantling mechanisms of multi-resistant bacteria and a dive into the big data secrets of childhood leukemia, he realized: No breakthrough is possible without compelling data visualizations. Luckily, at the same time, he discovered his passion for the combination of data & statistics with art & design.

In 2020 he founded his data visualization studio higsch, where he specialized on creative, interactive data visualizations. After a year of exciting projects across topics in politics, medicine and human rights, he decided to join the weekly news magazine DER SPIEGEL. Today he is leading their Graphics & Interactive department.

Hidde (@hdv) is a front-end web developer and accessibility specialist. On his blog he writes about HTML, CSS, JavaScript and accessibility. As a freelancer, he helps organisations create fast, scalable and accessible front-end solutions for their end users. His clients include Mozilla, W3C, the Dutch government and the European Commission. He used to be involved with Fronteers, the professional association for Dutch front-end developers, organising meet-ups, workshops and conferences.

Molly Watt

Molly Watt

Molly is an Accessibility and Usability/User experience consultant, specialising in sensory impairments, keynote speaker and blogger. Currently recognised on the Shaw Powerlist as one of the top 100 influential people with a disability and shortlisted in 2019 National Diversity Awards.

Molly has consulted and worked alongside digital giants Apple and LinkedIn, ASOS, Sigma, Gov UK Digital Services, NHS Digital, Spotify, GN Hearing, Institute of Coding advising on the accessibility of digital online services.

Molly delivers keynote presentations and workshops around the world talking about the importance of designing for Accessibility > inclusion, consulting and advising teams on how to better deliver their products and services both environmentally and digitally.

Working alongside designers and developers Molly often runs audits on websites looking to improve the end user experience, and achieve inclusivity.

Molly aspires to a world designed to be fully inclusive to all including our ageing community, those living with temporary and lifelong disabilities. Majorities not minorities!

He leads by doing, teaches from experience, and succeeds by facilitating others' success. When others say "That can't be done" he shows them how.
